Dr Thomas is experienced in preparing medicolegal reports covering a broad range of issues concerning older people including standards of care and personal injury.

Dr Thomas works as a Consultant Physician in Geriatric and General Medicine at the University Hospitals in Cardiff and works full time looking after acutely ill patients of all ages.
He has a subspecialty interest in Parkinson’s disease and is the lead for the Cardiff and Vale Parkinson’s service. He also has expertise in dementia and leads the Cardiff and North cluster of the Cardiff Memory Team and as well as falls and he has developed a falls prevention programme for older people.
