Has many years' experience working in an acute hospital setting and has medicolegal expertise in assessment of nursing care standards.
Her medicolegal experience is centred around breach of duty in nursing care both in hospital and the community including care homes.
Jacqui Attrill is a senior nurse with Post Graduate qualifications in Education, Back Care Management and Work Based Learning.
Jacqui Attrill leads the teaching of nursing standards within her Trust and is responsible for writing Trust based clinical guidelines for nurses.
She is experienced in investigating patient complaints and authors Serious Untoward Incident reports as well as presenting her findings at the Trust Clinical Governance Board. She also has expertise in producing action plans arising out of investigations as well as auditing to ensure standards are met.
She is a registered nurse working at The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust in the capacity of Medical Education Lead Nurse.
